The Story
Bledsoe|McDaniels Olive Mill began the same way many meaningful ventures do, through friendship.
For years, winemaker Josh McDaniels built a relationship with master miller Paul Durant and became a big fan of his work. Through that relationship, he developed a deep respect for olive oil, its health benefits, and the same devotion to land, varietal integrity, and timing that defines great wine.
What began as curiosity turned into conviction.
Josh believed there was room to apply his winemaking philosophy to olive oil, holding it to the same standard of excellence he brings to wine. When he shared the idea with business partner and good friend Drew Bledsoe, the response was immediate. Drew and his wife Maura had long valued high-quality olive oil at their own table. Together with Josh and his wife Kim, their vision took shape.
In 2025, Bledsoe|McDaniels Olive Mill was founded.
Centered on single-varietal, certified-organic olives, and uncompromising purity from grove to bottle, the mill reflects their belief that exceptional food is rooted in place, people, and doing things the right way.
