    To qualify as “extra virgin,” the oil must meet strict standards for acidity and quality. Beyond certification, freshness is what truly defines excellence.

  • How long does extra virgin olive oil last?

    Olive oil is sensitive to light, heat, and oxygen.


    When stored in a cool, dark place, unopened bottles maintain quality for 12–18 months from harvest. Once opened, we recommend enjoying within 3–6 months for peak flavor.


    Olive oil is not meant to sit forgotten in a cabinet. It is meant to be used.

  • How should I use extra virgin olive oil?

    Generously.


    Finish soups and stews.

    Drizzle over roasted vegetables.

    Dress simple greens.

    Pour over warm bread with sea salt.
